MAXIMUM ALLOWED DRAFT



In accordance to Ravenna port ordinance no. 02/2016 went into force on January 29th 2016 at 00.01 following variations are to be applied
in accordance to vessel's draft and for those berths where maximum allowed draft is 10,50 mt

Draft range Tide condition
Fm 9,45 to 10,00 mt Any tide conditions
Fm 10,01 to 10,50 mt Tide Over mean sea level  (*)

(*) In good weather conditions

Maximum allowed draft 10,50 mt for berth which can accommodate vessels with such a maximum draft is restored

For all other berths where maximum allowed draft is 9,60 mt, vessels with such a draft
are allowed to enter into port/berth only with favourable tide and favourable weather conditions

NIGHT SHIFTING AT INNER PORT

In accordance to Ravenna Harbour Master #14/2016 went into force on Apr. 8th 2016 following vessels are allowed to shift inside the port

Cruiser vessel fitted by : Azipod-Shottel or Stern thruster  plus bow thruster are allowed to berth with NO Tugs

Cruiser vessel with traditional propulsion system fitted by two propellers and one rudder for each axis, bowthruster and with LOA withion 210 mt NO tugs In case of LOA over than 210 mt almost one tug is compulsory.

Cruiser with only bow-thruster are allowed to berth by using of minimum one tug

Cruiser vessel with now bow thruster or stern thruster

are allowed to berth by minimum two tugs

 

ACCOSTO NORD

Maximum  LOA 210 mt - Maximum Beam 29 mt - maximum draft 8,00 mt ( 26ft25)

Cruiser vessel fitted by : Azipod-Shottel or Stern thruster  plus bow thruster, two propellers and two rudders or Diesel-electircal engine or pitch propelelrs  are allowed to berth with NO Tugs .

Cruiser vessels fitted by   bow-thruster and one or two propellers are allowed to berth by using of minimum one tug

Cruiser vessel with now bow thruster or stern thruster

are allowed to berth by minimum two tugs

 

Berthing and sailing manoeuvres for cruising vessels to/from

Molo crociere Porto Corsini in case of non favourable weather conditions and wind over than 20 knots speed are allowed to manouevre :

Cruising vessels with LOA over than 100 mt : Minimum two tugs

Crusing vessels with LOA less than 100 mt : Minimum one tug

According the new Port Ordinance no. 68/2008 in force following maximum  dimensional limits are applicable for vessel navigating into Ravenna Canal . New limits are based on vsl?s L.O.A, Beam and Tide :

With ref. to above subject and in accordance to dredging operations at Ravenna ?s port

during last period, by ordinance no. 197/2010 which will come into force on
